Been to Simon twice now regarding my car. Most recently yesterday where I had an exhaust problem. I’ve had the same problem with my old car a few years ago, and the previous garage I took it to charged a whole lot more than what Simon did yesterday. I told him there was no rush for my car as I didn’t need it too much this week but he messaged me only hours later to tell me it was repaired. Having had this, and a previous service by Simon, I will carry on using his service for my car in the future.

“Trustworthy, reliable and great customer service…..I know zero about cars…so we all know how difficult it is to find someone who isn’t going to rip us off!!!!…I was quoted between £800 and £1500 from 5 different garages in York to repair my clutch , then Simon Mordue was recommended to me , I gave him a call and my car was at his garage the next day, he then called me back after looking at my car and told me that I actually didn’t need a new clutch and it was fixable and the cost was no where near what the other garages quoted me….he could of charged me for a new clutch and I wouldn’t of had a clue and just paid it, my car was ready the day after and I got to book myself a nice holiday with the money I saved….so if your looking for a garage you can trust look no further…..I highly recommend simons auto service.”

Simon is a first class mechanic – knowledgeable and trustworthy and his prices are always competitive. We’ve been taking our cars to Simon for years now and the service is always friendly. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.
